Lion (Original Run 1965-1969) Black & white serials, printed at between 2 and 5 pages per week. Eps. denotes the number of episodes or parts to a story.

Lion Annual (1967-1974) Mixture of strip stories (denoted by [s]) and illustrated text stories (denoted by [t]). Sometimes an annual would contain more than one story. If an annual is omitted, it means there was no Spider content.

Super Library - Fantastic/Stupendous Series (1967-1968) Self-contained stories - 132 page books (albeit with only 2 frames per page on average); The Spider alternated with the Steel Claw, taking the even numbers, though one book for each character was released each month. #1 & #2 were titled Fantastic Series; from #3/#4 onwards, the title was renamed Stupendous Series.

Lion (1972-1973) Reprinted serials from the original Lion run. "The Spider v. Spider-Boy" reprinted the first 14 episodes, with a rewritten concluding part pencilled by John M. Burns. "The Death-Master" was edited to form a single continuous story, simply billed as "The Fantastic Spider".

Vulcan (1975-1976) Reprinted serials from the original Lion run. All episodes were rearranged to be four pages long. The first four serials were printed in the Scottish-only 'pilot' version of Vulcan. The conclusion of "The Spider v. The Android Emperor" was edited so the first nationwide edition on 27th September 1975 could start with a fresh reprint. "The Spider v. The Crook from Outer Space" was left incomplete when Vulcan was folded into Valiant from 10th April 1976. The version of "The Death-Master" from the 1977 annual was the same one used in the 1976 Lion Annual.
