CG Robo (1993) This constitutes, as far as I can tell, the entirety of the CG Robo backstory. The narrative is quite simple - Police CG arrives from space, morphing into his vehicle mode then transforming. Fire CG, 4WD CG, Ambulance CG and Carrier CG join him on the barren surface of the planet, where the quintet are menaced by a demonic hand emerging from a volcano. They then head in to stop it. The commercial uses primitive CGI (later to be a component of the successful Machine Robo Rescue anime), with only Police CG actually transforming. Several alternate edits were made - a couple of shorter ones with various bits trimmed out, and a couple with gag endings - one sees Police CG fly into the background, which then shatters while the others watch, bemused.
